Self-Portrait

Tennessee Countryside
This week was pretty normal for missionary work!! Nothing too cool, but we did have the kids at church again and we will baptize them soon ether this or next weekend which is rad! Yesterday I had the most spiritual experience at church! I went to YSA to bless the sacrament there were only 4 YSA students there which was weird for me, but the spirit was so much stronger down at YSA.  I got to give my testimony which was so nice. I went up at the last part and just cried like a little girl.I guess I have the Marshall crying issue.. haha but I just talked about how much my life has changed in the last 6 months and how I always had my heavenly father to turn too! I also talked about how great my family is and how grateful I am for them in my life, and the love and support you guys send. I got 8 letter this week which was so awesome. I'm so blessed to have such a great support system, and I love it. But if you write me I will always write back. But I'm doing great! Just trying to work harder as a Missionary. Service Project Day
2 months down!! Wow! I can't believe it! It's been a fast two months in my eyes! Hopefully it keeps it up! Transfer came and pasted. Nothing happened to me or my comp which is okay I guess! My area is  awesome so I'm glad I'm staying here. I will just have to learn how to be more Christ like with my comp in these next 6 weeks! The trainer trainee meeting was awesome! The mission president kind of got mad at all the trainers which was funny. It was a super long meeting although! Yesterday after 6 hard weeks of trying to get the Jones kids to church they came!!!! It was so awesome!! They are the craziest kids, but fun to have a church! I was so happy! Sense they came to church we will be dunking (aka baptizing) them soon! Maybe this weekend with sisters other 3 baptism!! The sisters do work with the YSA's and they get about two baptism a month which is cool! We had exchanges this week which was fun! I got to spend a day with my district leader Elder Allen! He's really cool, and he taught me almost more than my trainer ever teaches me haha! We also had a really good service project on Saturday! We help the senior citizens in this letter town east of us! It's was great day beside it rained for like 8 hours haha! But I got my package from Randy! Thank you guys! And I got a package from Keely! Thanks for the love an support! I couldn't do it with out you all. or in the south Y'all. haha Love ya and have  a great week!

September 16, 2013

I had to wake up at 4:45 but the sunrise was so cool it was worth it I think!!!

My first meal I cooked!! I even ate the left overs haha!!

Me in normal stuff... it was so great to feel like a kid again!! haha
Week 7 is a upon me!! It's also the last week of the transfers! So I could get transferred next week which would be good!! We had zone conference this week, and it was great! It was a long meeting but it was fun to be with all the other missionaries! We have a lot of missionaries in our zone! We are the biggest and the best in the mission! I got to hang out with Sister Jensen which is always great, and we get to talk about good old Cedar! At zone conference they talk a lot about the vision of the south, and that is why I've been called here! It was just a great learning meeting! At Zone conference they check every car, and my car won the cleanest in the zone!! I'm pretty proud!! I clean that thing for like two days.. haha but I don't know if it was worth it because all I won was a picture.. but I didn't even get the picture haha! We had one investigator at church, but he's pretty crazy, and I don't know if he will come back! The work has really been hard lately.. All of our appointments are falling through, but I still stay positive!! That is the key I think of missionary work! Grandma send me cook book and I'm become chef ty! That's now one of my goals is to become a good cook while being out here! But I'm doing good, and I'm staying positive! Elder Ty

So I made it to week 6! Now that's pretty awesome! haha We had a pretty good week!! We set two dates on Saturday! And hopefully they follow through, and keep up there reading and learning so we can get them baptized!! We had Zone meeting on Thursday which was really good! There was a talk by one of our Zone leader on Haven't no regrets, and it was great! It really helped me I loved it!! I've been trying to stay positive everyday all day long, but it's hard! I don't like Weekly planning on Fridays so it always puts me into a bad mood, but I'll keep working on it! There is a car cleaning contest for zone conference on Wednesday, and I want to win so I'm going to go crazy cleaner on our car today!! The (County) fair referrals are a big mess, but we are almost done with them we got like 7 investigators maybe! But it was good contacting lots of different people! I'm doing pretty great, and would love to hear from any one! I will always write back! Love Elder Ty

September 3, 2013

I made it to week 5 Crazy!! The weeks seem to be like days although! Missionary work is hard, but worth every second of it! On sunday we had one Investigator at church which was good! but we invited about 6 more so that was rough, but one is better than none!! We are still teaching a family, and it's going pretty good! They still aren't coming to church, but we got another family last week who is a part member family and they are fun to teach! We meet with them tonight! Our (County) Fair referrals are a huge mess. Like there great to have people interested, but most of them blow us off. We have 90 and we have maybe 5 Investigators, but we still have 32 to contact this week so we are still busy! On Saturday I popped my tire trying to be like Tony Hawk, but I quickly realize I'm no Tony Hawk, and I landed pretty hard, and popped my tire! We were like 4 miles from home so I had a long walk haha. But yesterday I bought a new tire and I'm all good now!! Hopefully this week picks up! We spend a lot of time walking around last week; which is pointless, but every week is a new week! I'm doing pretty good although! Love Elder TYYYY
Food Donations Accepted - Tyler has not been getting many dinner appointments in Tennessee so far......Hopefully it will fill in this month...
