I got to ride a bus again!
2013 is almost over!! Such a life changing year for me! Soo many wonderful thing happened to me this year, and to my family! Sometimes I can't even believe everything that happen last year! Taking state again, Gradulating from high school, going through the temple, and serving the lord! I also got an awesome new sister law this year! Heavenly Father really blessed me this year, and I'm so grateful for such an amazing year! Thank you everyone for the Christmas presents you all spoiled me so much!! You all are so awesome, and I wish I could repay you all for everything! But thank you all! It was awesome to hear some of your voices! It was the best Christmas present I could ask for! And I can't believe how much Sage talks now!!! Last week was a long week but a good one. We have one new investigator. The only issue is that he is living with his girlfriend.. so that's a problem. His girl friend isn't super interested, but maybe they will get married or something! Pray for them! We are also trying to find new people, and find some less actives to work with! We have a few but I want to get some more, because I really like less active work! This week won't have much missionary work because today is p day and tomorrow we have to be in at 6 for safety, and on Wednesday we have another P day but that one is an all day p day.. So we don't get to work too much this week! We are going to Madison on Wednesday with our zone which will be fun! Just not a normal week! So crazy that 2013 is gone and now were almost to 2014! Thank you again for everything! I wish you all an amazing New Year! And I hope you all are safe this week! Love ya Elder Jaros

Dilly beans!!! Thanks so much Grandma!!
Christmas!! Thanks Everyone!!
My Mission friends!! Love em
I live next to this air port so I feel like I'm on Wayne's world watching the air planes fly over me and I scream! haha
Holy cow can you believe that Christmas is this week!!?? I can't. Where does the time go.. I have no idea! But I would like to thank you all for the cards and packages! I really am feeling your love from Utah which is so awesome! Transfers went great! It was a good meeting to talk to missionaries and the friend I have made out here! The new area is different.. But it will be good! The members don't really trust the missionaries here because of disobedient by other companionship.. but me and the new sisters are doing work so it will be all good! The ward mission leader is warming up to us so that is the first part! They just want hard workers and that's what we are going to do! But the District leading is awesome!! I have a district of all sisters.. but they work so hard, and they set the example for me so it's pretty awesome! We are a super young district with none of us being over a year out yet! My comp name is Elder Threet he's nice! But the new area is cool because Lebanon is aka the Cedar City and there are cedar trees EVERYWHERE!  So it's like being home, but just with out the wind! But the town has a few dog food plants so it smells awesome.. not really. Probably the best part of this area is the fact that the people are HUMBLE here which is awesome!! They want to talk about Christ, so that's a huge blessing right there!! But with Christmas time being here let us not forget the real meaning, and let us not forget about the atonement and everything Christ has done for us. I just wanted to wish you all an MERRY CHRISTMAS! And I pray for all of your safety and welling being. Love ya  Elder J-rose

Thank you so much Keely! I love it!

Saying bye to my boys!
Where is the time going... I have no clue! Transfer #3 is gone now! Well this week we had Christmas Zone Conference! It was a fun meeting! We had gift exchanges and a good meal and some good trainings about coming closer to Christ and being more obedient! It was good day over all! Me and Sister Jensen hung out and talked about good old C City! Elder Golightly and I took the scenic road there and was pretty cool seeing a lot of Tennessee in our 2 hour drive there! We also moved into our new apartment Thursday and Friday of this week! It took a lot!! Our new apartment is pretty nice! The sisters are really jealous so there trying to get us to trade haha but It's all up to Elder Golightly! Because I'm getting transferred up to Lebanon about an hour away from here, but a lot closer to Nashville! So I'm getting closer to the big city! But one exciting part of the transferred up there is the fact that I will be a District Leader!! Which is awesome! I'm excited, and nervous.. It's a lot of my plate now but I think I'm ready for it! But the worst part about moving is that I have to unpack all the apartment stuff to repack all my bag to get them to Lebanon tomorrow! But the best part of the week was RJ BAPTISM!!!!! It was an awesome day!! He bore his testimony about us and the spirit after and it was so sweet! I confirmed him a member yesterday at church which was scary, but I got over it.. It was such a great way to end my transfer and my time here in Cookeville. I'm sad to leave here and Elder Golightly but the future is bright I hope! Yesterday at church a return missionary back to our ward quote this from the Grinch and I wanted to share it: “And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”   And Christmas does mean a lot more! It's the birth of our beloved Savior! It's sad to me that it took me 18 years to really realize what Christmas is really about maybe I took this mission I don't really know, but this Christmas I challenge all of you to remember our savior a little more, and try a little harder to be like him. Thank you for all the love and support. I feel it a lot during this Christmas time. I love you all so much. Elder Tyler Jaros

Me riding in my dreams down Giant Steps.
We make pies sometimes.
So this member in my ward gave me a brand you snowboard. Pretty RAD.
This week was so crazy it's unreal!! Lots of stress but a great week! So it was me and Elder Golightly turn for exchanges with our District Leader Elder Andersen so Elder G went up to Monterey and I stayed here. The exchange was from Monday to Wednesday so I had to plan good visits for me and my district leader to visit which wasn't to hard. Just a little stressful, but than I got a text from the zone leaders and they asked if they could come stay a few nights! So they came and we had to plan stuff for them to do in our area also! So there came a little more stress to plan for them also, but I made it through it! Until Wednesday when Elder G came back, and we were walking to the apartment manager place to deal with moving and crap when the AP's called and asked if they could go on exchanges with us for the next two nights and stay with us so the pressure was really on!! The AP's were coming! So me and Elder G went and planned some good appointments for us to go visit, and it went great! The AP's taught me so much!! They taught us how to plan really good, and all of there ways to talk to people. It was an great experience!! I was with Elder King most of the time, and he is the king of tracting so I learned a lot! Than on Friday we had interviews with the mission president which was great! And Saturday we had our ward party and we had soo many people there! It was a great event! RJ came to church yesterday, and so did his wife!! They also came to the Christmas Dev. last night, and he really like that! So that was great! And if everything goes well his baptism will be this Saturday so we will have our white Christmas! But I'm doing great! Thanks for everything!! Love Elder Ty

Thanks Grandma for the Christmas Tree

Check out my Handstand
4 months down!! December should fly right by!! RJ baptism fell through.. which was sad.. but he is doing okay, and we are still working with him so hopefully soon he will come around!! But besides that set back I we had a good week of service and working hard! We had a nice thanksgiving with visiting lots of families and going to a dinner with the Cote family who is always feeding us! It was nice but it was a quiet day! We visited my boys (Jones)  on thanksgiving they are doing great!! Tershon is sick.. but it was nice to spend time with them on thanksgiving! Sister Weaver came to church again! She is just a special lady, and I'm so grateful to meet her and help her in her life! Hopefully she will continue to stay active here! We are mostly likely moving so send ALL letters and packages to the mission home not my apartment!! But I'm doing great, and this thanksgiving I learned how to be truly grateful for all my family. I love you guys so much. Thanks for everything. Love Elder Tyler James
