Should I bye them?? Nah

My favorite store downtown
Hot, Hot, Hot, and HOT!! It's been hot and muggy in Tennessee, but it also has had tons of miracles last week! We had another RAD week here in East Nashville! It was a start of a transfer so we set some goals! We want to see a baptism this transfer, and also lots of miracles so that's what we are praying for. We had a big one with 3 investigators at CHURCH! Which was great! I was sooo happy for them! We had Christian (17 year old, great kid), Deetree (the guy who quoted James 1:5 back to me) also Jesse (Part Member Family)!!!!!! It was awesome. Christian and Deetree were the big miracles! Christian for sure. We had a lesson with him that night and it went well. We read and talked about the sacrament about of 3rd Nephi 18, and he asked us that night for a list of favorite chapters from the Book of Mormon! So I gave him a list of my favorite, and he is already reading up on those. He's a great kid! Now we just got to get him, coming along with the commandments! Deetree was also a great miracle! He has read a little from the Book of Mormon, but he is having a hard time with it. He did love church though! This area is full of miracles! It's unreal. Rachel didn't make it to church, but she did call and asked what she missed. So that's was good! A scripture has came to my mind a lot lately. It's a classic it comes from Philippians, which says; "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." I love that scripture because it's so true. If we trust in our savior who has done everything we will ever have to do we can do anything. It's pretty amazing to think about his arms reached down to strengthen us. He's there for me I know that for sure, but I love when my investigators start to trust him and realize he is there to strengthen us. Missionary work is the best. I'm so grateful for my call to serve.
Thanks for all that you do. Love Elder Jaros

Boat rides in the gaylord!
Today marks the start of my final transfer as a full time missionary. Really unreal. I can't believe how amazing these 22 months have been! Truly the best thus far of my life. We had a good week. We had a solid Monday night with an good lesson with Rachel first. She had a seizure and feel off her front steps and cut open her head... It was a rough day for her, but that night she wanted us to come by and talk so we did. She is progressing some she has been coming to church which is good! She came yesterday! So that's good. That's the second time we've had her at church. We set a goal list for her on Saturday! Just trying to help her progress in life some as well! Tuesday was filled with a all day trainer trainee meeting! It was a great meeting. I realized that I'm still having to adjust to missionary work! Ha always ways and something we can do to improve! I went on exchanges for the next few days. I was with Elder Thorup in the other half of our branch. It was a good time. He's a funny elder. He's going home tomorrow, and they are closing there area so we now we'll have lots more to do! Rest of the week went well. Biked a lot, and had a rad Saturday with 8 lessons or so! That was great! We also both had to speak in church. That's my 3rd time as a missionary speaking in church. It was an easy topic studying the scriptures! I only had to speak for 5 minutes! I quoted this from GC from Bishop Caussé talk: "

Sometimes we might be tempted to think, “I don’t need to study the scriptures today; I’ve read them all before” or “I don’t need to go to church today; there’s nothing new there.”

But the gospel is a fountain of knowledge that never runs dry. There is always something new to learn and feel each Sunday, in every meeting, and in every verse of scripture. In faith we hold to the promise that if we “seek, … [we] shall find.”"

I know that toooo be soo true. I've come to love the scriptures soooo much on my mission. They are my favorite thing. I love studying them and learning each day. It's such a blessing to have a time daily to study, and I'm excited to keep this habit for rest of my life. I hope all is well with ya'll!  Life is sooo blessed here in Tennessee! Love ya Ty

The district!

My daily breakfast!
We had another wonderful week! I know I start every week off with a line like that, but the lord really did blesses again! We hit our goals and just some sooooo many blessings! We also were able to give many priesthood blessings. That's something that I've loved so much about my mission is coming to understand more about the priesthood and giving lots of blessings to non members and members. Truly amazing to have such a gift from God. We didn't have any one at church, but this week will be better! We had some good lessons with Rachel and Christian, but they both said they couldn't make it this Sunday. Which was a bummer! We had a busy week with splits with President Andersen, and exchanges with the Zone Leaders. We had an awesome day on Tuesday where every lesson we had set up worked out, and we had 10 amazing spiritual lessons. It was sweet! One of those awesome days! Plus now I've figure out how to use the buses successfully so that's nice! On Wednesday night we went to go visit a referral. We have a home teaching list here in this branch, and as we were home teaching I just asked all the less actives for referrals. Well the one lady gave us her son, and they were golden. There names are John and Peaches. Peaches runs a tax company, and she had sooooo many questions for us. She loved the message we shared! I'm stoked for them! This week I also kept having my new favorite song come to my head, and I want to share that with ya'll.
If the Savior Stood Beside Me
1.If the Savior stood beside me, would I do the things I do?
Would I think of His commandments and try harder to be true?
Would I follow His example? Would I live more righteously
if I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?
2.If the Savior stood beside me, would I say the things I say?
Would my words be true and kind if He was never far away?
Would I try to share the gospel? Would I speak more rev’rently
if I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?
3.— He is always near me, though I do not see Him there,
And because He loves me dearly, I am in His watchful care.
So I’ll be the kind of person that I know I’d like to be
if I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me.

I love this song. I love the word to it. It always helps me to remember my savior and to remember he's always near. Thanks so much for everything! Love ya'll! Elder Ty

Rain!

Bike cable wouldn't unlock had to cut the cable!
My District!
June is here.... Last week was incredible! It was great! Even with the  bikes! We were down poured on a few times, but we made it out alive so yay! I don't know where to start! We had 3 investigators at church  yesterday! And three less actives! It was awesome! Plus we set two baptismal dates last week! The first one was with a gal named Rachel!  She is a 40 ish lady and she is very humble! We been teaching her for  about a month, and she really started to progress this week! It was  great, and as we were prayed to figure out who the Fellowshipper  should be we went over and gave a member a blessing, and it was so  clear to me during the blessing that she should be the Fellowshipper!  They hit it off great, and she even took her to church! So huge  miracle right there! Also we set a date Saturday night with Christian! He's a 17 year old! His mother and sister are converts from another ward in Nashville. He has such a powerful testimony of the  Book of Mormon. He's been reading it for almost two years, but he  always have some hang ups with baptism. We set a date for July 4th! He didn't make it to church yesterday, but we are going to go over tomorrow and try to get him progressing towards that date! The other  two investigators at church were from another part member family we  found! On Thursday my bike lock wouldn't unlock.... So we just started  to walk to our next appointment, when we met this lady Ginger walking.  We talked for a while as we walked with her, and we learned that her  grandfather was a bishop back In the day! We went over to there house later that week, and we invited them out to church, and they came! It  was sweet! They have a super cute three year old daughter! So it was  awesome! I never had a week like this! It was great! It's unreal how  much I've come to live my mission. It's going by two fast. I never  thought I was going to like it at all! I was planning on just being a  brat I think for two years ha but I've come to loved Tennessee so  much, but I've really come to love and know my savior. I'm so grateful  for him. This week when things were going nuts I would pray for safety or guidance and it would always come. It's great to know that I have a  savior who has been through the things I'm going through, and when I turn to him and use his atonement I just closer to him. I'm so  grateful for my call to serve. Thanks so much for everything! Love ya'll Elder Jaros
